    Hello CBUSsers,

Has anyone played with the logic functions in the DALI2 gateway?

What can and can it not do?

I would really like it to be able to emulate the same function as in the relays.

I am working on a commerical job that is predominantly PIRs.

The client wants an override to ensure all lights are on all work hours and only PIRs out of hours - it is a large open plan office space.

Setting a group address in logic settings with the OR function in all relays and dimmers allows the channels to be on during the day without affecting PIR functions - particularly at the end of the day,

Can this be done with the DALI gateway?

I dont have any new DALI gateways in my test bench at the moment.

Hoping someone else has played before I go back to site in a few days.

    Cheers,

    Mal.

    Hi Mal,

I can confirm for you that the Logic capabilities of the DALI-2 Gateway are similar to what is found in the leading edge dimmers (Min/Max Logic).

You can have a tinker with the UI via the database within the SLCC software without requiring a physical unit

If only this existed on the old DALI gateways... the commercial setup of 'sensors out of hours only' would be a breeze.
