    Hi all,
Is there any way that I can send a C Bus massage straight from my desktop,
with out having to opening Home Gate.(RS232 or IP???)
I have a small C Bus network, with 1 colour touch and a CNI.
It is only one group I would like to control.(1 audio zone volume)

    Cheers.

    yes.

    options are:
    - talk direct to CNI via TCP/IP or RS232 bridge and implement the protocol yourself (public version available here http://cbus-enabled.com for free )
    - use a DLL ( .so on linux) available here http://www2.clipsal.com/cis/technical/downloads/developer_tools#CBusWinDriver (also free)
    - use c-gate (just like homegate does) documentation available here http://www2.clipsal.com/cis/technical/downloads/developer_tools#Cgatedoco (also free)

Download and install the latest Toolkit.

The cgate that in there comes with doco now. Trawl through c:\clipsal\c-gate2 and you will find it in there somewhere.
