This might be a silly question. I have channel 1 on my NEO set to a Memory Dimmer. Everything works as designed except that the lights go On/Off instantaneously. What do I need to change to make it send a Ramp On/Off instead of the Set On/Off command?

Wired NEO setup as Memory Dimmer would set the key functions as

    Short Press ..............Idle
    Short Release............Memory Toggle
    Long Press ...............Downcycle
    Long Release.................End Ramp

Memory Toggle stores the level in Recall 2 and toggles the state.

When you say everything works fine I am assuming you are referring to Long key (Long press and long release), which means you would like to change just the Short Release because the Short Press will affect the Long and Short. I do not thing there is a single wired micro function that do that (Memory Ramp) as far as I know. It would be interesting to see if this can be archieved using "Custom" Function instead of Dimmer.

Correct. On long press it correctly dims using the Recall time. When looking at the log file I can see the ramp message but the Short Press is a On or Off Group message. I remember from HomeGate that you can Ramp a Dimmer function over a specified time period, wouldn't it be great to do the same from an input unit.

Memory toggle is just that - a toggle.

There is a ramp recall microfunction in there somewhere (RAMPRCLx). See what that does for you.

I tried the Memory Recall 1 function and it ramps up to a certain point but never ramps down. Dimming still works fine but I believe, because the memorytoggle microfuntion does both up and down, that there might be no way of doing this with one key.
