Please check the simple and obvious things:

    only 2 clock generators enabled

one burden only enabled (more = bad)

groups are programmed correctly into switches and dimmers

Your problem is almost certainly something simple - perhaps a mistake made by the previous guy? There have been thousands of these things installed, 99% without incident.

    Hmm,
Make sure both sides of the dimmer, as in the Active and Neutral are on the same phase. As they are triac's you could be 120 deg out of phase.

Did you program with Toolkit or using Learn Mode?

If programming via learn mode and you *exit* learn mode with a long press on a *relay* the switches will be configured as On/Off rather than dimmers, which would give the behaviour you describe.

If this is the case you will need to re-learn the associations and exit learn with a long press on a dimmer.

If you have network problems, often putting the network into learn mode and exiting without making any associations can sort out clock and burden issues, however be aware that if you have programmed using toolkit, and you do start making associations in learn mode, this may put your network out of sync with whats in your database.

Let us know what you find out!

I think Ross might have hit the nail on the head. If a dimmer does not have the same phase connected on both sides (ie is shared across 2 phases), it will not dim.

Think of it this way... 1 Phase per Din Rail or Pro Series Dimmer.
