    Hello,

I'm experimenting with a cbus set up on my work bench before commissioning it into the house.

Currently I have 2 PCI (5500PC) correctly found when scanning the network in cBus tool kit.

My (2nd hand) wireless gateway isn't found.

Switching over to the diagnostics utility, I can intermittently identify unit and 'see' the nearside of the gateway on address 255

12/11/13 00:28:16 = Local Network, Source Unit 255, System Message
But other times I get a blank response.
Inst MMI just 'see's the two PCIs on 001 and 002.

I've tried swapping leads etc. The clock and network burden appear to be ok.

Am I missing something obvious in how to set this up?

    Thanks in advance,

    Alan.

No you are not. The near side should be there always. Plain as the nose on your face.

had that happen to me with my 2nd hand wireless gateway.

I ended up resetting it back to factory and setting it all up again. hasn't been a problem since.
