A couple of months ago I decided to add graphics to a DLT, nothing fancy, just things like "Kitchen" , "Scullery" in a different font.

I used IrfanView and Paint, but when I imported the graphics to the Toolkit, the graphics did not look that great.

I decided to let go and use Text instead.

I admit I do not have any artistic bone in my body, but I am wondering if you guys are doing something similar, if so what applications are you using, image attributes?

Tips or recommendations will be welcomed.

My guess is that you created the images in colour using paint or similar?

If you create a 16 x 62 pixel monochrome (i.e. B&W only) bitmap in paint you should be able to import that into Toolkit and load it onto your DLT with no loss in quality at all.

Yes I did, and I then tried shrinking the image to around 16 x 62 afterwards and converting it to B&W.

    Thanks for your help.
