    Hi all

(anybody remember Dave Lee Travis? a dj in the UK also known as DLT!)

Will the input units offering DLT functionality be made for standard UK back boxes i.e. could you replace a standard Neo with a DLT Neo without any modifications to the back boxes?

    Cheers
    Greg...

    Thats the intention. :)

Lets see what Newman says. He's more aware of what will happen.

DLT is coming for the UK market.

The delay between the A-series (Australian pattern) and the E-series (UK pattern) is caused by the fact that, unlike the regular Neo/Sautrn and 2000 series stuff, it needs re-engineering for the UK market with a different screen, new circuit boards etc. This is because of the different mounting centres of the UK wall box.

If the existing screen was used the mounting screws would pierce the LCD about 5mm in from either end. The shorter sceen means that the info represented on the screen needs to change which means firmware changes which means more re-testing which means.....

And that's why the E-Series DLT wasn't available when the A-Series was released.

Radio One is a load of old fun

Apparently the next new range of CIS swiches will be the Emperor Rosco series :)

You may have to marketing involved. Maybe bounce it around with Ron a bit. Emperor Rosco does have a ring to it, but may need some tweaking around the edges. :)

    So are you Frank :)

Do I also remember he had a barking dog, or more accurately, a cartridge with a recorded barking dog...
