i want to do some dynamic labelling on a job with dlts but i am un shore what serial strings to send to the pc interface. I am using crestron to send the strings.
When i use dignostics utility i send a label and read it via crestron but wen i get crestron the send the string back the label doesnt change on c-bus and toolkit log records a string error

is there something special i need to do to the pc interface to send strings.

No, you dont need to do anything special to the PC interface. It means either you, or some layer of software magic in crestron-land, are sending the wrong thing.

    Hi Dave,

What are the strings you are currently sending?

Have a look through the protocol documents that Clipsal released recently. That should show the label commands for you.
