    We've got ~20 DLT's, all ver 3.0.00, mfg date March 2011.
Programmed and worked on-site for 24h.

After 24h all lables disapeared... no way to get any text on them no matter what we do...(triyed almost everything we can think of...)
Beside of lables they work fine ;)... (button press, fb, lcd backlight...)

Looks like a bad mfg batch... any idea will be welcomed.

    TIA

Unlikely to be a bad batch. The most common cause of labelling problems on DLT's is bad comms quality, so I'd suggest you work through all the basics. C-Bus is very forgiving of communication problems for basic functions but things like labelling are a little less tolerant.

I'd take a switch and set it up on your workbench on a very small network. Use Toolkit to set the unit to it's default configuration and save this to the unit. Then, assign a group address to a button. Then, try to label it with Toolkit. If it works, then you know that your problem is either network comms or a misunderstanding somewhere.

    Newman,

Many thanks. We did all of that...
We've got many projects with DLT's that so far have no issues at all.
We are aware to some "issues" regarding labeling limitations, fonts, custom graphics etc.

All of the keypads where brought back to the office and tested (one by one).
Label data cleared , Unit Reset, Re-address, Re-programmed and Re-labled.
No Text... (we even can not see the C-Bus splash on boot).

I can send serials if you think it helps...

We've already ordered new units but would like to know where things got wrong and what else can be done.

    Thanks again.

If you are not seeing the typical splash screen on the DLT on start-up then they are almost certainly faulty.
