    Dear Friends,
This is first time we need to integrate the c-bus connected Auditorium lights and Stage light, DMX is the protocol used for Stage lighting. All lights connected in the auditorium are proposed though L5112D16B2. there are 3 Nos L5112D16B2, also I ordered 5150DMX 3 Nos.

please let me know the possibilities in wiring and control. Is there any direct possiblity of enabling CBus to DMX mode from the stage lighting controller.
Waiting for all your valuable comments.

    Thanks & Regards

To put the channels of the dimmer into DMX mode requires a C-Bus command to be sent to the dimmer. This is the only way.

Channels that have a DMX slot assigned will flip into DMX mode when the DMX Enable Group is turned on (set to value $FF). The channels that don't have a DMX slot assigned (displays as <unused> in the drop-down box) will remain under C-Bus control.

I suggest you have a read of both the User Guide for the dimmer and the Help that is available in Toolkit. We'll be able to help you with specific questions after that.

Please note that there are newer high-power dimmers available that have a wider range of features, called the Infinity C-Bus High Power dimmer range. They are available in Professional and Architectural versions. These dimmers are very new, and not all models are available just yet, but these have some more advanced capabilities. If the L5112D16B2 that you have doesn't perform the function that you require, it may be able to be satisfied with one of the Infinity dimmers. Talk to your local sales staff to find out availability.
