i have a house where all the lighting is done via c-bus. it has worked fine for quite some time but lately i am having a problem with a dimmer unit - low flickering lights when the chanel is off. the problem is completely random. as it will go weeks without happening. when it does happen, turning the lights on & off doesn't help. they come on but when i turn them off they just go back to flickering. cutting the power at the switchboard for a minute or two doesnt work either. when i turn it back on they start to flicker again. if i cut it for 30mins or so that does fix it and it may go a day or a week or longer without happening. when it's flickering the channel is off. i have 3 other sets of twin downlights with same transformers & globes running from the same dimmer unit yet these are fine. i can only put it down to a problem with that particular channel in the unit. any idea's? the unit is about a year old. thanks

Whenever a dimming problem is identified on a single channel of a dimmer the best thing to do is swap the circuit to another channel. If the fault follows the load, it is a load problem. If the problem reoccurs on the same channel, it may be a channel problem.
