I have asked for it before but will ask again.

Can we please have a tick box in preferences that will turn off all dialog confirmation boxes please. It is just not necessary.

    Example:
    1. Get new unit out of box and connect.
    2. press reinstall (can this have a function key? Can we have any function keys along with F2 please, some of us do use the keyboard)
    3. once the database unit information has been transfered to the new unit, you get 2 confirmation boxes in a row telling you you were sucessful.

    HELLO.

Can these be nuked please? I only need a dialog box in my face if it was unsuccessful.

This may seem trivial, but you do it a few hundred times and you will get as frustrated as I am. :D

EDIT: (might as well go for broke)
Once the database unit information has been transfered to the unit on the network, can the database be updated with the new unit serial number, as part of the programing process please. It would also save another manual step in the process.

    Thanks

    Thanks Daniel,
By my maths, it would save me :-

    4 x mouse/keyboard clicks per unit.

Sit down and do 100 units and you can see how frustrating it can be for zero return.

Ross, this won't make it into the imminent release (literally only a week or 2 away) OR the one after that (aim for about September). Maybe after that.

Now Ross, what have we said about counting things. Whether it be mouse/keyboard clicks or tiles in a pool somewhere in Strathalbyn, just don't go there. ;)

    Howdi Phil,
Actually I did a rough calculation since T/Kit V 1.3 and now take back all my words of abuse for the poor PC keyboard giving up the ghost. It does add up, so to speak.

I just got RSI from yes/thankyou/yes/good on you/yes/wonderful.. You get the point ;)
