I recently experienced an operating system failure on the laptop that had the C Bus toolkit.

I downloaded a new copy of the C Bus toolkit, connected to the network and recreated the database.

I would like to copy the database to a second laptop and preserve all the naming and DLT labels? I am switching about 55 circuits using 7 relays, 10 Saturn DLT and 6 Saturn 2/4 gang switches.

Retyping all the names and DLT labels will be tedious.

    How can I do this?

In Toolkit go to FILE/BACKUP PROJECTS to create a copy. Then in the other copy of toolkit FILE/RESTORE PROJECTS.

Alternatively go to C:\Clipsal\C-Gate2\tag (assuming you used the default installation path) and just copy the 'project name'.xml file.
