    Hi all!

I need to know whether labels of DLT can be changed once it is programmed and commissioned? Can we program one button to change language of DLTs while running(Not in toolkit).

    Thanks,
    Manas

    Hi Manas

Open Toolkit and goto your C-Bus project.
Open it up and hi light the Network not applications.
On the top of that screen you will see the DLT Labels double click on that.

    Regards
    Rob

    Thanks Rob for your info.

    My question was..

I want to program a button which will change language of all DLTs while running. Is it possible? If yes.. How many languages I can change? How to do it? If no.. Please say 'no'. Please do not pass funny comments.

    Regards,
    Manas

    Changing Languages

    Hiya,

You can set the network wide language of labels from Colour Touchscreen / Homegate / Schedule Plus using the "Label Language" In-Built System IO. Doing this will cause all DLTs to display any labels they have loaded for that language, or if they have none in the selected language, display the English (01) labels as a backup.

The DLTs can support up to 8 languages. You will need to load all the labels for the 8 different languages into the units using Toolkit, then you can toggle between them by setting the appropriate language.

A few pointers that might help:
You only have 16 Dynamic icons for each unit, so use sparingly if using more than 2 languages.
Once a unit has had labels in 8 languages applied its full. If you want to clean it out, the "Clear Labels" button is your friend. (Can't remember if its on the "Labels" or "Status" tab in TK)

Good luck & let us know how you go!

    Cheers,
    Mark.
