Sorry for what might be a silly question but I paid up for a E5500CN and it has been supplied with no 12 V power pack. How do I get one of these ? No one seems to stock.

The E versions of products usually don't come with power packs or anything which connects directly to national system plug / socket outlets. Thats because the socket outlets vary by country.

For an E5500CN you need 12V dc (from memory its DC), at about 500 mA.

You should be able to find such things very readily, to suit your country and its socket outlets, in pretty much any consumer / hobbyist / retail electronics store. eg Radio Shack / Frys / whatever in USA. Jaycar in Australia. Unsure in UK but you get the idea.

    Hello jamiepwood
    Ashleigh is correct
Here is a picture of the one which came with my CNI.
It is 12V 500mA dc but the installation instructions say 12VDC or AC 300mA.
    No polarity on the terminals.
Perhaps you even have a spare one lying around from a DSL modem.

RS Components should have a number to choose from as well.

    Hi,

I've used an ac door bell power supply in the past, similar to RS 445-9608, and they fit nicely into d/board type enclosures, adjacent c-bus modules on din rail.
