eDLT Manufacturing Issues

I have been told by Haymans this week that an order of 20 eDLT's we have is not indefinitely on-hold as Clipsal have said 'The 5085EDLW-PW is facing major delays due to manufacturing issues and we can't give an ETA'

Does anyone know if this is accurate, or am I being led up the garden path?

 

I have mine, had them for 2 months +

 

Haymans have given you roughly correct information.. ETA on available stock is June at this stage I believe..

For an order of 20 units, it sounds like a larger project.. I suggest contacting your local representative and seeing if they can pull some strings..

I have found 4 with Haymans, none with Ideal and L&H still looking for us.

We are getting desperate for this job. Any other suggestions of who may actually keep any stock of these?

 

even if you did get them the buttons have been a big issue on them, you would then have to source new button caps. You are better off at this stage seeing if you can use dlt's and swap them over later on

 

Spoke to Andrew our Clipsal Rep, and expected June launch of new ones, hopefully all fixed.

 

I have now been told July, and then this week I have now been told August.

We have jobs just sitting around now waiting for Clipsal to fix the issues and get them out again.

What is clipsal doing to support us guys who now have projects unable to be finished for months. Especially true when it was Clipsal who suggested not to use them until they had fixed the issues (I guess they didnt want to look bad when they had failures) but now keep pushing back the re-launch, just like the original!!!! EEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!
