First thing is to work out what's going on.

Is it repeatable or does it seem random? Can you try putting the diagnostic utility on the network and observing the commands being sent by the eDLT when you press the keys?

The shutter relay widget on the eDLT is designed to be used with the "level translation" mode in the shutter relay... is this enabled in the shutter relay? Are the blind run times ("failsafe time") set to match the time it takes to open/close?

This mode works in the shutter relay by interpreting levels 1% and 99% as "down/stop" and "up/stop" respectively. The right hand button always sends 99% and the left always sends 1%. If you press a key when the shutter relay thinks the blind is running, then the shutter relay will interpret the command as "stop".. if you press the key when the blind is stopped the shutter relay will interpret it as up or down.

The shutter relay always enables the relays for the full failsafe time, so if you are starting from a a position that is half way for example, the shutter relay still thinks it's running, even if the motor has stopped because it has hit it's limit.

This sometimes causes confusion where the blind has already stopped due to hitting the limit but a keypress is interpreted as stop because the failsafe timer hasn't timed out.

    Hope that makes some sense.

I am facing same issue with Shutter relay L5501RBCP when operates trough EDLT 5055EDL

    • "level translation" mode in Shutter relay is also enabled.
    • Fail safe is 30 second
    • Changeover delay is 0.50 sec

when I operates same shutter relay From Neo Cbus keypad it works perfect on all Modes i.e Shutter toggle, Shutter open, shutter close

But when I operates it from EDLT with shutter relay widget, with 2 key function, I have to press many times to operate Shutter relay. I also checked in log no command is sending on pressing button, there is n fault in button because on next page Dimmer function is on same button it works perfectly fine

I also tried 2 key with preset function with minimum and maximum value for Close and Open Respectively, same problem is there.

Does any one facing same issue please share the solution

    Hello NickD

I had also checked log in which command being register. On pressing key various time command is sent once in a while.
But on changing page same key response well on dimmer function
8 EDLT keypads are installed all are having same issue on Shutter relay, so it can't be said that keypad have any issue

I will try with denounce time as mentioned, and then share feedback on this.
