    Hi All,

I am looking to change some of the "Label Text" definitions on my EDLTs.

Basically stupid labels like "Release the hounds" are redundant to me, and I want to insert more appropriate labels.

I have worked out where in the template xml files the HEX data is stored for the labels, "WC" for example:
    <StaticTextString48>0x57 0x43 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0</StaticTextString48>

I have tried editing the Hex values but have been defeated by the CRC checksum which is obviously designed to stop people dicking about with important things, but adjusting labels like this is trivial and I can't see why we need to be prevented from changing this.

Is there a tool I have missed for changing this content or a checksum creator that Clipsal can provide?

I may not be correctly understanding what you are trying to do, but would the LIGHTING LABEL command in C-Gate achieve what you want?

I will take a look, but as I understand this, the Labels are stored locally on the EDLT and then recalled.

Stuck between a rock and a hard place atm as W10 installs on 9 machines are all failing for various errors on machines that ran the preview fine, so once I have the network back I might have some time to take a better look.
