Evaluation Version C-Bus V2.0 series software

    Over the past few years this error has been reported to me about 3-4 times,
    but we have never been able to replicate it.

    The Story:
    You have been using your computer with full build C-Bus software
    to program C-Bus that day, and it works. You then go to program another
    unit and you get the error message-

    unable to scan network- EVALUATION software

    or something very similar to it......

    The exact reason this happens is unknown to us, as we cannot replicate
    the fault "in-house" and our Toolkit programmers are working with legacy
    code when it comes to some parts of the old V2 software.

    We can suggest thought that the problem relates to a comport issue and its comms.

    We have been able to resolve the problem with installers so far by getting them to:
    1- close C-Bus
    2- look at "task manager"
    3- make make sure that a "process" called ntvdm.exe is not running.
    then reboot the computer.
