Extending cable for sensors on 5104DTSI

    Hey People
    The manual for the 5104DTSI shows that, to a maximum of 25 metres, you should use CAT5e to extend the length of the cable on any of the three sensor types.
    Can I assume you pick one pair of twisted cable for this extension, or one cable from each of a couple of pairs?

    Yes, only need one pair. Doubling up (2 pairs) would not be a problem though. Best to use a pair as opposed to a wire from each pair to maintain twists and simplicity.

    I like the look of those. I wonder if a similar idea could be used to make them with those plastic screw in plaster anchors you see at Bunnings and some sort of press on cap.
