I have an installation which was communicating perfectly well with the PC Via the USB (Gemini Bird) to serial converter to the PCI interface (Number 78669-033).I have upgraded to the latest C-Bus toolkit 1.7.4 and its just the same. The installation is working ok

Now communication has stopped with the installation and when I search for networks it sees the PCI but says 'failed to identify Network'
I have changed the USB to serial interface. it was on Com 3 and the new one is on Com 15 - it finds that and still says 'Failed to Identify Network'
Could you give me any pointers here on where to look?
    Regards Graham Kemp

If everything works apart from programming with toolkit, normally it is software burden problem. Plug in a hardware burden and check. If you don't have one (it should come with your PCI), try to power re-set your c-Bus system (power off all c-bus power supply and back on) and let it start over again. If you have recently add a new hardware to the system, its unit address may be the same as your PCI. In a word, make sure no address conflict with PCI.

I haven't try latest software myself (just to avoid unexpected problems like that) so if it is due to software bug, maybe someone will let you know....
