    Hi All,

I am new to the world of CBUS. So take it easy on me :)

    Is this possible?

    I would like to control a L5501RFCP using a 5031NL.
    Push once for low
    push again for medium,
    push again for high,
    push again for off.

    Thx

From what I can remember you can do this by setting up the 5031NL in the trigger control application, where each press will issue a trigger. And the triggers will increment the fan speed in a cycle: Off -> Low -> Med -> High -> Off -> Low ... etc.

Seeing as its been a while since I had anything to do with a fan controller, it might be good to get somebody to confirm this :)

I'm 98% sure you can do it.

There is an option Fan Speed Cycle in the drop down for the action.

You need to create a trigger group and action selector.

The help file also has information on doing this.

It should then list it as scene 8

    Hi,

After endless hours of research I think I have found the issue.

The function "fan speed cycle" is not in the drop down list using Toolkit version 1.12.5

The 5031NL has a manufacture date of 3/1/2007. In toolkit it opens up as a KEY1 window. YouTube help video with similar setup showed a KEYC1. The KEYC1 was able to select fan speed cycle.

Toolkit help file extract " the KEYC series have some important programming configuration differences"

Is it just that my switches are too old to support this function ?

    Thanks in advance

5031NL is a single key unit.

Put the entire unit in the Trigger Control application (change primary application).

The program a key so that it functions as a RECALL.

Set the keys Group to the Trigger Group number.

Set the memory recall level to the Action Selector used in the fan controller for advancing speeds.

    Should be all you need.
