Could someone look at the following screen clip from toolkit and shed some light as to why the events dont trigger. The idea is to ramp the dlt backlights up and down in relation to the external light level. My external sensor works covering up the unit send the level up and down while monitoring in tool kit. Also if f ramp up and down the DLT BackLight group via a switch programmed as dimmer the backlights go up and down. I messed with all the settings and dont seem to get any effect, some times you just need to ask for help.

Hi Michael,

From what I can see from the screen shot you have provided, it appears to look OK. I can't see why this set up wouldn't behave as desired.

Try varying the input, and have a look at the Application Log in Toolkit to see if any bus activity occurs.

You might also try giving Clipsal tech support a call, hopefully they can help you out.

Hope that helps!

The application log shows the broadcast ever 30 seconds this also shows the change in light level, but no responses from the cbus group

I will try technical, but probably not that easy in the UK.

xrmichael,

Just a guess here....
Try ticking the "Single Load" tickbox and see if that works.

I had tried that but i have just redone it again, no GA ramped, i am starting to suspect the unit but it seems funny that it will broadcast level changes but not carry out the event instructions

After wasting a day of my life on this, it was a faulty GIU after all.
