Simple question: Do the green connectors used on the pro dimmers have a name? Part number?

    Green things..

Phoenix connectors - no idea on part number though. You should be able to get them through your local electronics store (Dick Smith, Altronics etc).

    Thanks

Neither of those are very local (wrong continent!) but I checked them anyway as a Google for Phoenix connectors is throwing up lots of stuff that's not relevant and nothing yet that is.

Searching Altronics for Phoenix gives no results, dse.co.nz got me some interesting results (eg "Harry Potter and the Order Of The Phoenix") but no connectors, and dse.com.au was down due to high traffic (those connectors must be real popular!)

    Hi Mark,

Try Farnell, search for Phoenix and look under "PC Board Connectors".

"Phoenix Contact" is the full company name. From memory these are the "Combicon" series.

You should be able to get them in the UK from Farnell or RS.

Looks like you've got the answer you wanted.. but I thought I'd mention that when searching for bits and peices on the net that it's often more useful to search via Google Images rather than the standard Google Search..

Here's the google images search for "phoenix connectors"..
