help metal halide

    will the 12 channel relay handle 150w metal halide flood lights , 1 on a channel i only ask because i have noticed my floodlight on my shed seems to be frying the 10a mech

    Of course it will.
    The total amberage is less than 1Amp and the start up current less than 5 or 6 Amps

    Metal Halide lights frying 10A Mech

    Gd day,

    Hi, we used the L5504RVF20 rated at 20Amps for our metal halide circuits and flood lights using high watts. Watch out for your breakers though. Normally your Electrical Engineer would work out with you on those MCB (miniature circuit breakers) load and allowances.

    You can also use the Metal Halide feature in the Toolkit when configuring your channels for metal halide feature to adequately handle the startup lamp procedure.
