Helvar DALI Networks

    I am struggling with the Helvar distributer in NZ who beleives that the DALI gateway will not work with their ballasts & control gear despite me prooving it to them on their test case. I have done dozens of DALI jobs without too much hassle. Has anyone out there completed a job controlling Helvar ballasts with a C-Bus gateway?

    Also be warned that the Helvar folk have prooved very difficult to work with as they are trying to push their own controls. I am not looking foward to getting any support out of them should their product fail.

    If their ballasts are compliant with the DALI spec then they will work fine with the C-Bus DALI gateway in terms of setting levels, ramping, and fault reporting... as it sounds like you have already demonstrated.

    Do they have a particular aspect they are concerned about or scenario where they believe there are problems?
