Homegate Demo?

Any news of Homegate Demo, working with Toolkit 1.30? Is it discontinued?

 

A new version of HomeGate (including a demo version) will be released soon (compatible with ToolKit V1.3). It was not deemed worth the effort to produce a HomeGate V3.4.1 demo just for a few weeks.

 

HomeGate_3_4_1_Upgrade_Setup.zip (2.5MB) is available, demo is not. Maybe after some time, as I understand)

Main thing is Clipsal continues it.

3.4.1 was released as a compatibility service pack to allow HG to work with the updated C-Gate included with Toolkit 1.3. A demo was not created as we are only a short time away from the release of the next version of HG with new features.

 

ah, OK) I just use the demo to train people, wanted to be up to date.

I don't think so, but these things can change at the flick of the marketing fairy's wand so don't hold me to anything.

will the next version include being able to control dynamic labelling from home gate. its easy enough to do it via ca gte, but would be a great option to put into homeate please please please

 

Dynamic labelling control will not be in the next release. It is on the list of things to do though.

 

Homegate Demo Limitations

I was wondering what the homegate demo limitations are.
Because it says it stops some functions, i was wondering what they were

There are less of everything (pages, scenes, schedules etc) available. See the Help | Software Properties form for details of the limits.

The demo versions also disconnect from C-Bus after a few hours of use.
