Homegate Error

    I have just got a copy of Homegate V3.1 I have installed it but cannot get it to work I keep getting an error mesage 14013 saying that " cannot connect to CGate at 127.0.0.1 Connection was disallowed for the following reason "you have connected to CGate version 2.5.23. this software requires version 2.2.x " so I know the reason, but how do I solve this do I uninstall CGate 2.5 and download version 2.2 and is this easy? do I have to change? should i change? will it affect Toolkit or P.I.C.E.D. IF i do The demo version of homegate worked fine appericate any help

    You need to istall the latest HomeGate. Go to http://www2.clipsal.com/cis/technical/downloads/home_gate scroll down the page to the "Registered users software updates" and download Homegate 3.7.0. This should upgrade your Homegate 3.1.

    Thanks for that all working now

    My mistake I though as I had just got the software that it would be the latest, I had to wait nearly 8 weeks for it

    Ouch ... this one of the reasons that Engineering release software direct to the web. It used to take us ages to get updates into the production system.
