HomeGate project in Colour C-Touch?

Hi Everybody,
The subject says it all. Can I use my beloved HomeGate project in a Colour C-Touch. Or do I have to start from scratch again?

The colour CTouch runs Homegate in the background so it shouldn't be a problem.

Just open up your Homegate project in PICED as a Colour project and modify the screen size. Everything will probably be out of position due to the size change though.

I loaded my HomeGate project into PICED, changed the screen size to suit the Colour C-Touch, added the obligatory "utility" page (networking, calibrate, cleaning mode etc.), exported to archive, no errors everything looks good.
BUT..... it doesn't work! When I transfer the project the HomeGate in the touch screen seems to reset and then hang. After a minute or so, it repeats this. During the start of the reset, I can see the taskbar (including START button etc).
I can reset the screen using the transfer utility, and load a quick, simple project without problem.
Looks like I will have to start from scratch, bummer! What a pain.

 

Or, if you have time, you could send the project to tech support and get the problem fixed. Would be good to finout why the CTC doesn't like the project.

 

This is a good idea. There is no good reason why a HomeGate project should not be able to be used in colour C-Touch (subject to adding necessary tools etc).
