I'm not familiar with "call address". Could you tell us more? Is this related to security?

    hi

i already try program wiser several time...
when i trigger ON light at one room ( call bed room), sometime light indicator at other room will give status ON also, it happened also at a big network with backbone. many lamp icon will be light ON, even tough as actual , the lamp not turn On.

    the question, how could ?
how wiser software read address channel tagging , as a hexa name ?

    thanks in advanced

Sorry, but I'm having difficulty understanding you. I think you're saying that when you press a widget, multiple lights are turning on. You'll want to check in C-Bus toolkit that each of these lights have a unique group address. If they have the same group address, then the effect will be that they will both turn on even if they have different Wiser widget names.

    Hello,

From what i understand you have a large cbus network.. And have added a wiser, which you have programmed yourself..

When you access cbus via the wiser gui (interface with pretty icons) and turn a cbus group (light) on then the picture shows light turning on but in actual installation the light remains off..

Is this correct or have i misunderstood..

Things to check if above is indeed correct..

1 - Go to CNI IP Address and check it is connected to cbus.. Ie type http://CNIADDRESS into web browser, eg http://192.168.2.2

2 - Wiser router and CNI on the same network.. Ie 192.168.2.1 for wiser and 192.168.2.2 for cnis or however you have configured them..

3 - Details in PICED wiser project are correct for Wiser and CNI IP addresses.. Ie set to whatever you have put them as..

Let us know how you go..

    Cheers..

    HI . thanks for respons

    Kjaya,
yes .. when i press icon in Ipad ( you called widget), multiple Group address will turn ON also ( it happened only in IPAD / not at actual site / room ) ,

actually on c bus toolkit and widget, GA description name are different, but i don't know with hexa address, cause wiser cannot give information about hex address.

F.Y.I , there are 8 network with NB install in every netwotk, connected to backbone , for Network A, relay GA start with 00 (hexa address), for network B, relay GA start with 00 again , and so on.

do you any advice ? or i did something wrong with tagging ? or there are a bug regarding this probeleme ?

    thanks in advance

    HI Roosta

    Yup Rossta...
so far wiser already connect with cbus ..
    they can communicate each other...
but the problematic is... multiple icon at web / ipad/iphone, will be turn together...only for Interface, not at actual instalation.

    thanks in advanced

    regards
    Vincent

My knowledge of C-Bus with multiple networks is poor. But what I think is that if you enable forwarding of an application across a network bridge, then the group addresses are consistent between the two. I think that's what you're describing. You have GA 0 in both A and B, so when you turn on GA 0 in A, then GA 0 B is also turning on.

Read the C-Bus Networks document for details of how multiple networks work.

I suspect that you have used the same group address on more than one network.

It is important to understand that it is the group address that connects things together, not the tags.

    Hi Daren,

    regarding your suspect,
i already check the address , actually mentioned in document also, (Network bridges, thanks), please correct me if i'm wrong :
there many relay on network, do i have readdress 1 by one ?
    for examples ,
    1. 5512 rvf on network 1 , the address will be 00-11, second 5512 , address will be 12-23
    2. 5512 rvf on network 2 , the address will be 24-35, second 5512 , address will be 36-47,
    3. and so on at the other network,

my target is, lighting can integration with wiser or xenta TAC in the next future.

thanks for your kindness attention Darren.

(Sorry got a bit confused myself, deleted some comments)

Ideally you should be using a different application per network and then using the routing capabilities in the bridges and Wiser/CTC/Schedule Plus ect to 'connect' and control units in different networks.
