how to program short address of dali

    Could somebody here teach me what the good way to program short address of dali ballast when each dali bus with more than 60 units lamps online?
    when I use command"random address", there always some different units set to the same address. what commands progress to solve it?

    The maximum number of DALI devices that are allowed on a DALI network is 64. These can be assigned short-addresses 0-63.

    You say "more than 60 units lamps online". Are you saying that whenever you have 61-64 ballasts on a network, you are getting DALI units assigned the same short address?

    This forum is for C-Bus (which has 1 product that is a DALI gateway). You might find more experienced DALI experts on a DALI forum.

    Yes, hope here some experts know the resolve way, at present I can only preset short address before installation .

    so then don't use random addressing.

    use the manualy assign metode.
    by the way, what sofware you are using for configuration the dali?
