Do the NIRT plates accept industry standard IR emitters ??

I have tried about a dozen different types, none are working.

I am currently trying to test the IR codes, via CIRC, using the test command option, while connected to the NIRT via the High Speed serial cable.

Yet, cant get the IR emitters to flash, or any of my codes to work.

    Anything I'm missing. ???

Do I need to use the C-Bus Ir emitter. ??

I take it from some of your other posts you were able to get things working?

The Xantech IR emitter leads are tested and known to work fine. You can use others, but be careful of the cable length. Any IR emitter length needs to be considered when calculating the total length of cable on the C-Bus network. Any lengths more than about 1.5m should be done using twisted pair. Provided you've done that, other brands should work fine.

    Thanks for the feedback.

Xantech, is my product of choice. I'll stick with them.

    Regards.
