    Hello,

I am planning to buy a jetmaster 1050 low low fire place and was wondering how to integrate this into my cbus system?

Has anyone had success in switching this fire place on/off via cbus? I understand it's a self contained unit and generates it's own electrical power (i.e. millivolt signal) to start up.

    Hi

The Jetmaster web site is short on detail, but I imagine all you need is a contact closure, so you could use any of the DIN relays or even the L5108 low voltage relay. You will need to contact Jetmaster to find out what the maximum cable length is between the fire and the relay - You may need to mount a relay close to the fire if your C-Bus relays are some distance away. If you didn't want to put a C-Bus relay near the fire you could use C-Bus to switch a 240v contactor connected to the fire.
