How do you keep a project synced across to PCs
If you use toolkit on one PC that generates a project file
If you need to use that file in say Homegate then they will become out of sync
you can copy it across but with it goes the connection info for cgate
so on the Homegate PC you have to boot up Toolkit change the default interface close down and the start Homegate

I bet you are tired by now

    I was
there must be something i am missing
    thanks in advance

    Hi Mike,

The way you describe is the only way to do it unfortunately. This is something that will need to be improved as the situation you described is a common one.

    remote c-gate

Not sure if this applies to your scenario, but if you have a permanent or semi-permanent connection between the two PCs (a local area network, or both are on the internet) you can just run Homegate/C-Gate on one PC connected to C-Bus, and connect to it remotely with Toolkit from the other PC.

    Hi Daniel

I know this doesn't really work

C-gate can Either do Homegate or toolkit but not both - believe me it ends in tears
Hence my reason for using two instances of C-gate
    And hence the problem
    thanks
    Mike
