    Hello guys,

Anybody have use the Shutter controller and programme it with Toolkit?
Is there any guide regarding the configuration? I am trying to configure a Neo button so the shutter going down or up as long as i have the Neo key pressed. I have try several configurations and the only thing that i manage is each time that i press the button the shutter starts to go up or down for the preselected duration. Each time i press the button going to the opposite direction. What i want excactly is:
Long Pressed Button 1: Going Up as long is pressed
Long Pressed Button 2: Going Down as long is pressed
Short Press Button 1: Going Up for the preselected duration (e.g. 30sec)
Short Press Button 2: Going Down for the preselected duration (e.g. 30sec)

Thanks in advance for your valuable information.

    Chris

In the UI for the Shutter Relay make sure you've got Level Translation mode turned on. Set the Fail Safe timer to 30 seconds.

In the UI for the Key Unit program up go to the Key Functions tab and program Button 1 as:
    Short Press = Idle
    Short Release = Recall 1
    Long Press = Recall 1
    Long Release = Recall 2

In the UI for the Key Unit program up go to the Key Functions tab and program Button 2 as:
    Short Press = Idle
    Short Release = Ramp Off
    Long Press = Ramp Off
    Long Release = Recall 2

Then go to the Blocks Tab and set Recall 1 as 100% and Recall 2 as 2%. Save this to the unit.

Programming the units this way will make the Shutter Relay turn on for 30 seconds if you just give the buttons a short press and will make the Shutter Relay turn on when you press and hold the button and stop when you release the button.

How would you fine tune this configuration so that on "short press" Key 1 would send shutters UP for 30 seconds, then "short press" Key 1 again it would send shutters UP for another 30 seconds etc. Meaning on the first short press the shutters would go half way up, and the 2nd short press they will go all the way up.

"Short press" on Key 2 would send shutters DOWN for 60 seconds. Meaning whether the blinds were half way up or full up, any short press on Key 2 will send them all the way down.

"long press" on Key 1 to send shutters UP whilst button is pressed, "long press" on Key 2 to send shutters down whilst button is pressed.

Also, about fine tuning the behaviour of the LED's on the keys. I only want the LED on whilst the command is being executed (up or down) i.e. once the shutter has stopped I want the LED to go off.

    And...
What was the idea behind putting orange LEDs on the shutter relay? I got 72M of CBUS output units in my enclosure, all with yellowy green LEDs, except for the 2 shutter relays. Just looks a little weird having a few spots of orange in a sea of green. With so much thought going into designing these things I was curious as to the thinking behind going with the orange LED. Not that it matters.

There is no way to "fine tune" this behaviour... it is all predefined in the shutter relay.
The only way I can think of to do what you want would be to write it yourself in the logic engine.

Again, this behaviour is fixed. If you were to implement your desired behaviour above with the logic engine, you could also get this behaviour with the indicators.

The orange LEDs are used in DIN rail products that are powered from C-Bus.

Thanks Nick. Is it possible to implement the "fine tuned" behaviour (both LED and relay response) via a Toolkit update (i.e. a new feature in TK for the shutter relay, if so can I put it in the "wish list"), or can it only be done with logic irrespective of what CIS might do with TK.
Whilst I do have a CTC, writing the logic to make this work is beyond me (any takers please??). The functionality I want (almost) I'm presently achieving using 2 change-over relays per shutter. It's just that I bought these shutter relays hoping their behaviour could mimmick exactly what I'm doing now, thus save aggravation from wife caused by CBUS doing stuff different to what she's used to.

It's not possible to change this with toolkit.
