    Hi !

I have one very basic question:
In the specifications of the Analogue Outputs L5504AMP specifies:
    Output Rating Soursing=2.5mA,
Thats mean that if I have electronics dimmable balast, 1-10V <0,6mA, I can only connect 4 electronic balast per channel?
    What means Output RanquingSinking15mA at Vout=0, 8mA at Vout=10V...?

    Thanks
    Daniel

Yes, your maths is correct. If your ballasts each draw 0.6mA on their analogue input then you will only be able to connect 4 per channel.
Some ballasts actually provide a current-limited voltage output signal, i.e. they don't need power provided by the Analogue Output unit, the provide their own. By loading this voltage down, be that by a variable resistor, Analogue Output unit or similar, the ballast is dimmed.

The ballast manufacturer will usually indicate how much current the ballast will source to the control circuitry. The 8mA @10V rating means that the Analogue Output unit can handle that much current being fed back into it via it's outputs. For example, if the ballasts sourced 1mA each then you'd be able to connect up to 8 ballasts to an output channel on the Analogue Output unit.
