lighting application address other than $38

Has anyone ever setup or come across a C-Bus network that uses anything other than $38 for the lighting application address?

If so, why would you do it?

If you need more than 255 group addresses, you will need more than one lighting application.

In installations with bridged networks, it is good practice to use a different lighting application on each network.

It is also common to use different lighting applications to separate behaviour. For example, you might use application $39 for blind, curtain and shutter control.
