I have been trying to get Wiser to be a part of an existing network.
I nearly gave up, but then found this excellent post:
    http://www.cbusforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6240

I followed the instructions and have succesfully got Wiser to be a part of the existing network.
Firewall->Switch->Wiser (wired, wireless disabled, DHCP disabled)
    |->Time Capsule Wireless (192.168.200.21)

So I can see the Wiser from the existing time capsule wireless network.
I can bring up the Wiser UI from a Browser (now at 192.168.200.11)
I can see the widgets in the iPhone app using 192.168.200.11

However none of the widgets in the Browser or the iPhone app actually operate any lights. (no loads work)

The iPhone app gives the only clue, in that the small indicator light at top right shows as a red indicator instead of the normal green light.
I have also changed the CNI to be 192.168.200.12 (per instructions in previously mentioned posting)
I have reloaded the Project from Piced (indicating the network connection is actually working correctly).
Are there any things I have overlooked here?
What information would be helpful in diagnosing this issue?
    Thanks

    Hello,

Have you changed the wisers cni ip address via the cbus ip utility and also in the piced project?

Definately sounds like a cni conflict/issue..

    Cheers,

    Hey Nik,
    Thanks for the tip.
I have definately changed the CNI address (using the IP Utility to both change and review the settings).
I thought I had changed the Piced project, but not exactly sure on what screens/settings so I will check out within the Piced project and see if I can find where I might need to change some address settings.

Come to think of it, I do seem to remember that connecting to the CNI via Wiser using the IP Utility, the scan returns the CNI address as 192.168.200.12
...yet the Wiser config utility show under the Status menu item, that the CNI address is still 192.168.2.2
Where specifically do I let the Wiser unit know what the CNI address is?

The last screenshot in Roosta's post. It's in the PICED project details section.

    CNI Wiser address mismatch resolved

    Hey guys,
    Thanks very much.
    Resolved!

You're right Newman, it was right there in Roosta's post.
I was behind a firewall that wasn't displaying the images, so I didn't see the excellent references.

Roosta, well diagnosed - you were spot on.
    Thanks.
