 ok i have a color touch screen for a client and the client wishes to view a live AV feed of the beach from the touchscreen it does not need to be recorded it just needs to be displayed on the screen constantly.
sadly i have to work with what iv got i only have a RJ6 coaxial cable going form the camera to the touchscreen.
will this do or do i have to give some heart breaking news to my client.:( :( :(
please advise on how this would be possible

You may be able to find an IP camera server that will work. We have used an "IPBox" one, which I believe has a composite video RCA input, so you may need another box to convert whatever signal is on your RG6 to composite.

Or you could use the RG6 as a draw wire :)

Only a webcam will put pictures on the CTC.

No.. because there is no video input on the touch screen!

As ashleigh said, the only way to display video on the colour touch screen is to use the webcam wizard (which displays images from a webcam using the html component).

An IP camera server (eg the IPBOX) can take an input from a video camera and serve it up as a web page, which you could then point the html component at.

    HTH,

Well the best method is going throught IP Conversion Web cams are ok but I Like this product "Pixord" works well with other mainstream cameras for a tad bit better quality.
