    Hi,

I loaded the CBus Diagnostic utility to check my network and found one keypad being very 'chatty'. It seems that every 3s is sends a message. I traced this to the status update message which seems to be the cause. My question is, why don't my other 18 keypads send status updates as much as this one.

Only one unit will initiate the MMI message, although many units may contribute to the contents of the message. All the unit address is showing you there is which unit is kicking the message off.

As an experiment, you can try disconnecting unit 47 from the network, or temporarily move it to another application. After a little while, you'll see one of the other key units initiating the MMI messages.

By the way - this means it is all working exactly as it is meant to.

Thanks for the information. I am glad to see the network is healthy then.
