Had a colour screen the other day that was doing nothing but crash!

The client said it was saying it was low on memory (didn't get to see it first hand)

It crashed 3 times in one day. It is one of my smaller projects, so I cannot work it out.

I just deleted a screen-saver page and changed the Auto-restart from weekly to every odd day and my fingers are still crossed:)

    any ideas?

    Sounds very odd.

Did any of the pages contain very large embedded graphics files?

There are 13 pages in total (I deleted one to try to fix it). Most pictures are 76kb (800x640 - no stretched images) and some are the standard template christmas, new years etc. Very little code - 84 lines.

The .cta file is 980Kb is size.

The client is still very upset because it is still crashing lots.:(

Same problem - CTC crashes, says "program too big for memory", right after a firmware upgrade. Now it won't connect.
What's worse - the project was the exact same project I used on another site, I was just checking the new PICED.
So... all that was different is a new CTC, and the newer PICED.
What's going on with these things?

    I'm stealing Darrens thunder...

He made a big discovery yesterday that *might* explain why this is happening. I won't bore you with the gory details of how XML files are parsed into DOM objects....

If all goes well (famous words) we will have Release Candidate #2 for the CTC later this week, and that goes off into the testing cycle again.

It may be that the previous project only just fitted in the Colour C-Touch and with the new Colour C-Touch software, there is no longer sufficient room for the project. We are working on making larger projects fit.
