Just wondering if the marpa amps can be used in a bridge mode as a mono power amplifier?

    No physical options

    Hi Clarty
I just had a look at a remote desktop amp and there is no physical switch on the unit for mono bridging. As far as I know these were designed as stereo units as that is their main function, drive two speakers in a room from a stereo input. It's been a long long time since I looked at the software side, but from memory the amps are pretty simple, most of the programming happens in the matrix unit.
    Cheers

    What about?

I know that with car amps if you hook up the speaker up between the positive terminal of one channel and the negative terminal of the other channel and it doubles the power (such as for subs). Just wondering if this is the same for the cbus amps

    Thanks
