I have a customers installation with wiser control and a matrix switcher with 8 zones. Now the customer wants to control his matrix through his ipads and iphones that he has strewn around the house. I have set it up to control each zones through the widgets in wiser, but how do i control the functions of the matrix through the wiser.

So my questions are as follows:

    1. How can i change the radio stations on the matrix from the wiser interface?

    2. How do i control the ripple software from the wiser interface?

    3. Is there anyway of dynamic labling in the wiser interface?

I have searched all other threads here and have not found anything that answers these questions.

Any help would be muchly appreciated.

    Cheers Brenton

    More to that problem

So Also on top of that issue im having trouble on the same job with controll of the audio zones from a web browser.

Control works fine when used with the ipads and iphones. But when trying to adjust from the web browser it just shows volume as 0 % and the speaker has a cross through it like its mute. When i go to trebble and bass they both show 0% ?????

If i have the iphone open to the audio control page and have open say the trebble and bass of the office zone they are both showing 50%. Then i open up wiser in the web browser and look at the trebble and bass for the office they both say 0% when i press the plus or minus buttons on the trebble or bass on the web browser i instantly see the treeble or bass go to 0% on the iphone. It happens the same with the volume input as well?? If i hold the up button it will ramp up to have a volume out but as soon as i release the button it goes to zero?? The input selection still works on the web browser though???

    Any ideas?

Well hopefully between us we can see what we can work out. It seems no one else on the forum can shed any light on the situation?

    A few thoughts;

To change the radio stations are you talking about an IR remote signal or just a source change?

I'm not using the ripple software - I have the older version for now...

You can dynamic lable in MSRPA to a DLT so interesting to see if Wiser picks this up too.

For item 2, my understanding is that's not currently supported. For item 3, Wiser can show System IO strings and these can be modified dynamically in Logic.

    Hey Guys,

I would like to assume you have read the up to date application notes for the new audio eqiupment and its functionality..

    Find them here:
    http://www.cbusforums.com/forums/sho...light=app+note

I have followed the instructions in these and successfully have Matrix control of radio station and streaming through wiser using dynamic 1 and 2.. No dynamic labelling yet though.. Still playing with that..

    Cheers,
    Nik
