Hello, when connecting by toolkit i get this info on the first page:

    Current Consumption 834mA
    Current Supply 2600mA
    Impedance 1298 ohms
    Units Calculated 52
    Units Not Calculated 0
    Result maximum supply current exceeded.

It is not clear if this is actually a warning or an all-good message. Pls let me know if i should be worried or not. :)

    Thank you

    Hi nsa195
No it is not all good.
What problem it could cause I am not sure but it is certainly in excess of the design specifications for a CBus network.

The message is telling you that you have exceeded the 2000mA maximum of CBus power supplies.
The available power is greater than the 2000mA rating of the Cat5E pink cable.

For example you have more than 10 output units with built in 200mA power supplies.
Or perhaps you have the wrong unit type entered into the database.

    For example
L5512RVF has a 200mA CBus power supply built in.
L5512RVFP has no CBus power supply built in.

Indeed a few "P"s were missing, now corrected i am down to 1600mA with result ok.

Thank you for your quick and precise answer.

    Cheers
