I am trying to use the 5104DTSI temperature sensor to monitor the heat output from the back boiler of a wood burner and activate heating zones using logic in a PAC based on the temperature. When I set the sensor to use the ?measurement? application ($E4, 228), toolkit does not create the application in the tree. Deep in the forum I found a post from Newman in 2009 that hints this may be a problem with toolkit. Does anyone know if there is still a problem?

Its not really a problem, as measurement application messages are used between sensors and devices-that-do-something-with-the-measurement.

And toolkit does not know or understand or care about the information flowing in the measurement application. It configures a device to generate information in that application, or receive it. But it does not actually play in there itself.

So I don't think this is a very big deal.
