mono touch screen

    hi guy's
    i have a customer that has 2 seperate mono touchscreens on seperate installs (2 town houses) i installed them 2 years ago
    apparently they have come hard to read . the customer has adjusted the backlit up as high as it will go but still very dark
    any sugestions

    How is the ambient light. eg. Are they outdoors ?

    Silly question, but have they/you checked the *contrast*? If it's too light (or dark) it can be very hard to read, regardless of the backlight settings.

    they are both in kitckens with light from windows and its the same at night

    the contrast is set as normal

    Have you tried adjusting the contrast though?

    Sometimes electronic systems can drift in their settings over time. It may be that you just need to adjust the contrast to make it lighter.
