I am getting the following GAs created after deleting them and can't find them in any units. Would anyone be able to suggest from the following log which unit id they might be in?

    Many thanks.

If there is a touch screen on the project, there you should check first, probably they are hiding in scenes modules.

What applications are you running other than C-Gate?

Is this happening during a Toolkit scan?

C-Gate can create Groups when it sees them on the network, but that's not what is happening here. A client application is creating these Groups, and that part of the log doesn't indicate why.

Toolkit's Document Project feature may help here, provided your project database is in sync with the network. I would hold output units logic and input units scenes as prime suspects because these features are often used but their groups are not visible in the simple view on GUI or in the list of units.

As a (possible) help to others...and an admission of dopiness...

After having deleted all logic, all schedules, all scenes all monitors etc and effectively all pages (except a blank one) in my Homegate project and still getting these mystical groups reappearing in my Toolkit project every time I Started up Homegate I finally read the Project Summary from Homegate properly and the groups being recreated were in the Power Failure Recovery Section of the Homegate Project report.

    DOH.

I changed the settings in the Load Monitor to ensure no loads were saved and low and behold they didn't reappear. Not having 'deliberately' saved these it never occurred to me that Homegate was just doing as I (stupidly and inadvertently) told it to.

After seeing this and searching the Homegate help file for 'recovery' it all became clear.

Thank you help file (and author)!
