Now that this new screen has been out for a little while...

    Any comments?

We've been deafened by silence. It's either so damn good nobody is complaining, or so damn bad that we've been deserted.

    New B&W

    Hi Ashleigh,

Yep, when people are happy, it's quiet. I wanted to post my comments about this, but there was no urgency...

Anyway, SUPER product. I am toatally pleased with this one. Only used one (without Logic) thus far, but the aestetics are great (got the glass facia), the quality of the display is great, the touch sensitivity is fantastic!
It's like day and night, compared to the 'old' one.

However, as small thing is the sensitivity of the backlight control. I haven't played enough yet, but as with the Colour Touch, the backlight is a bit 'twitchy' when light levels in the room change, even if the change seems hard to perceive. Unfortunately, each change to the settings is another download.

All in all really a fantastic product! Well done indeed!

It does look great and having the logic engine is great.

100% better than the old one.

    Plaster Mounting is good

The USB on the front is good too (saves the cat5 outlet under the touch screen down near the skirting)

One thing I do miss is the programming serial port on the back. Could connect this to a serial to network converter and do remote programing. Can not do this any more.

Can not even use a USB network converter as it would be pretty ugly at the front with out the cover !
