New Home Safe Keypads

    With the latest homesafe I am installing it came with NEW Blue backlit key pads

    They are very bright and I have been asked to make them turn off. at night they light up the room !

    the old one with the LCD did not have this problem.

    Is there a way to set a setting to make the back light time out after a time ??

    Blue keypads came in around 2 years ago..

    You can use programming option 'P60E 7E', when enabled the display will blank after 4 mins of no activity.. It is on page 24 of the manual I have here..
