    Hi, can anyone help
I have recently added IR control to my AV system, I have sucessfully imported and tested the IR codes from the circa software however I have been unable to make the NIRT fire when activated by a C-BUS command. The LED`s on the NIRT flash whenever a command is sent indicating that I have the correct address etc.

Is it a bright falsh or dull flash? The nirt does a dull flash whenever it sees C-bus traffic and this doesn't indicate that the IR is triggered. If the IR is triggered you will see a bright flash (assuming you haven't disbaled LED's in your configuration).

Are you using Circa 1.1 or Circa V2 beta?

    Also,

make sure you set the Key Function as a "Bell Press", and dont forget to set the Level to %100, as well as setting the Final Level to return to = 0.

just some little tid bits that got me, when I was setting up my unit.

Using circa ver 1.1 The LED is a dull flash, which I thought maybe an addressing problem however on investigating it all seems correct.
I have also checked that the buttons are set to bell press at 100% and then return to 0%. Still no action!!

The dull flash means that either:

    1. The 5034NIRT has had it's bright indicator flashing disabled via Circa; or
    2. The 5034NIRT can see the network traffic but it is not programmed to transmit IR data in response to that specific C-Bus message.

Try using a different IR command.

Some commands, just dont fire, even when it seems the NIRT has been programmed correctly. E.g. OK or ENTER command on the new Pioneer DVD player.

If you can get other commands to work, then you know your programming procedure is correct.
